A coach or infield leader will yell double cut.  Double cuts are needed when a ball is hit to the fence and there is gonna be a long throw to a base.  On a ball hit to the right field gap and the play expected to be at home, the 2B will be the lead relay guy and the SS will be the trail man incase the ball travels over the 2B on the throw from the outfielder.   The 1B will in their typical spot for a cut to home on a right field hit (in line around the pitchers mound) and the pitcher will be the back up behind the catcher.
